Champion Power Equipment 25-Ton Horizontal/Vertical Full Beam Gas Log Splitter with Auto Return

We had a large non-fruit bearing dark cherry tree taken down. The tree people said the wood was too hard to split. In a way they were correct. A splitting ax had almost zero effect. After 20 minutes with a sledgehammer and a wedge, I was able to split one 16″ log. That certainly would not do for the whole tree.The 37-ton Champion log splitter handled splitting the wood like it was nothing. It did great. Very easy to use, although I would recommend ear protection. Really glad to have it as there are two more trees, we removed that are aging and waiting for the log splitter next year.Highly recommend it. [...]
