Professional firewood people use these Kinetic splitters because there reasonably priced. These are professional splitters and are 5 times faster then those box store hydraulic splitters. Youtube has some great videos on them. I’m very happy with mine and it cut my splitting time in more then have the time and cut through wood with knots with no problem. If your not familiar with a Kinetic splitter do some research first before you purchase one, (You have to run the motor a lot slower on these splitters then on a hydraulic splitter or they wont work correctly) There not for the first time home owner cutting there own firewood that have never used a wood splitter before. That being said if you have experience and want a splitter that will cut your time in half or more, this is a good splitter for the price.
